Chef Erik was born and raised in Shreveport, LA where he discovered his love for food watching his Grandparents and Mother perform in the Kitchen. Erik attended Louisiana Tech Univ. where he found himself disinterested and burned out from school and spent more time studying college life than his engineering studies. After leaving college Chef Erik found a love in the Hospitality world. He spent over a decade working in Hotels and worked his way into Hotel management roles. During his hospitality tenure, one particular job Chef Erik held rekindled his love for food and travel. He worked at a technology company as a specialist in hotel software, which required him to travel extensively across the United States. He traveled coast to coast working and exploring the multitude of cuisines that America has to offer. In late 2019 Erik was fired from his hotel job and with advice from his girlfriend he set out to follow his dreams. In 2020 Chef Erik enrolled into The New Orleans Culinary and Hospitality Institute where he was slingshotted into the culinary world. Erik excelled in culinary school and graduated top of his class, he was even voted to give the commencement speech for his graduation. In July 2020 armed with a new culinary education and a knowledge of running businesses, Chef Erik opened Chef St Erik Personal and Private Chef Services. Since stepping out on faith, Chef Erik has completed over 300 dinners and events, hired to travel internationally multiple times, many HNW and Political individuals, and various athletes and celebrities. He has been featured in several articles and guest appearances on podcasts featuring his knowledge in business and culinary. Chef Erik has a growing following across his Social media platforms. On his YouTube Channel, he documents his unique culinary and entrepreneurial journey. He talks about Faith, Food, traveling, and golf. Chef Erik’s ultimate dream is to become a Food/Chef Personality and have a TV show centered around Food and travel. Showing viewers how beautiful the world is and the multitude of cuisines it holds. And showing how believing in yourself can change your life.
